About:

Islip High School’s World Language Honor Society (which includes student athlete members) shared in the spirit of the holiday season by collecting new unwrapped toys and gifts for children in need living in Suffolk County. Students and WLHS adviser Karen Maisano presented the gifts to the Suffolk County Department of Social Services, which distributed them directly to the children. “The World Language Honor Society extends our sincere appreciation to all the participants in the Islip community for their generosity and support” said Maisano.

WLHS Toys: Islip High School World Language Honor Society students Zoe Camhi, Kevin Guzman, Kenny Ortega, Caroline Gonzalez and Jos̩ Miranda, guided by WLHS adviser Karen Maisano presented donated toys and gifts to the Suffolk County Department of Social Services.
